Support » Plugin: Sticky Menu (or Anything!) on Scroll » Stickey Element Along with Theme’s Sticky Navbar

  • Hi Mark, I am using your amazing plugin with my search bar and it works fine. But, above the sticky search bar is my theme’s sticky navbar that only shows up when the user scrolls up. Is there any way to push the sticky element lower when the user scrolls up so it won’t be overlapped with my theme’s sticky navbar? Thanks for your help!

Hi, thanks for trying my plugin! 🙂

Yes, that’s a bit of a tricky one. My plugin can only become sticky when the user scrolls to a certain position, but your other navbar is also checking the scroll direction.

The only thing I can suggest here, is to add a value for “Space between top of page and sticky element” in my plugin’s settings, but even though that will look good when the user scrolls up, it will leave a gap when the user scrolls down.

I’m sorry, I don’t really have anything else I can come up with here…. 🙁
