• A few weeks ago, text copied and pasted from my sites using Sharebar started to include the text, “See more at:” followed by the URL with an #sthash code appended. I’ve traced this behavior to Sharebar since it disappears when I disable the Sharebar plugin. How can I stop this behavior without disabling the whole plugin?

  • Hello,

We’re sorry to hear you are having problems with our CopyNShare plugin. You can find instructions on how to disable the “See more at:” and #sthash without removing the entire Sharebar plugin at our FAQ page:

    http://support.sharethis.com/customer/portal/articles/517332-share-widget-faqs#copynshare

If you face any issues, please feel free to contact us! However, we hope you will continue to use the CopyNShare plugin, as it allows you to track all the sharing that occurs when a user copies and pastes your website’s URL or content. This feature comes in addition to allowing your site’s visitors to share to over 120 social channels.

To learn more about how ShareThis can give you a whole new way of viewing the content and social media on your site, check out our revamped social analytics page at: http://sharethis.com/publishers/metrics-dashboard#home
