stepcarousel not moving

Im wanting to add a stepcarousel to one of my fansites. Ive input the codes listed here into my theme. Im using it to show the latest updates to the fansite Im using it for. The content shows up when I load the site. Also the buttons show up as well. The only problem is it wont scroll at all.
