I had an issue with my website and my hosting provider reverted my WordPress installation to how it was a week ago. However, Backup Scheduler made a backup of everything as of 3 days ago, so I would like to restore from that backup that way I can get the missing days’ content.
The plugin help files have the following:
In the zip, you will find some sql files.
You could either:
• Import each file in your new database (for instance, thanks to phpMyAdmin), in the alphabetical order of the files.
• Concatenate the sql files in one big file and import this latter file in your new database (for instance, thanks to phpMyAdmin).
Please note that if you choose to save the SQL content of the sub-sites in different files, you will also have some blogx.sql files (with x the index of the blog). You can separately handle these files.
These instructions assume that I know how to use phpMyAdmin and that I know where the database is located on my FTP server, among other things. However, I have never used them. Is it possible to have step by step instructions on how to do this?
