• We did not have sales for 2 weeks and could not figure out why. It turns out if you’re a customer using real life data, you get this error:

No API key provided. (HINT: set your API key using “Stripe::setApiKey()”. You can generate API keys from the Stripe web interface. See -stripe api- for details, or email support@stripe.com if you have any questions.

Even when it worked fine before and no changes were made and everything in the dashboard said Connected.

Immediately uninstalled the plugin and used another.

    HI @affli,

Thank you for sharing your feedback with us. The error you encountered typically occurs when there’s a temporary issue with the Stripe API key configuration or the connection between the plugin and Stripe. Even when everything appears connected in the dashboard, external factors can occasionally disrupt the integration. In most cases, reauthenticating the Stripe account resolves this quickly.

We’re constantly working to improve the plugin to handle such scenarios more effectively and ensure uninterrupted functionality. If you decide to give the plugin another try, our support team would be more than happy to assist you with setup or troubleshooting to ensure everything operates smoothly.

Your insights are invaluable in helping us enhance the plugin’s reliability and user experience. We appreciate your feedback and wish you continued success with your store.
