Stay away from their adsolution! Porn!

    I wanted to warn anyone that is considering using these guys with their video adsolution.

    I’ve been using these guys for a while now. Recently I upgraded my phone and didn’t have my adblocker turned on. I visited my website and all of a sudden I’m seeing porn! I refresh a few times and don’t see it again. But all of a sudden the Google Play store opens up automatically to a game page! WTF?!?!

    I contacted the developer about this issue, and they setup a test ad for me because they couldn’t recreate it on my site and blamed another ad provider. Well, after about a day of refreshing on THEIR site I got both of the annoying and inappropriate popups!

    They said that there is nothing that they could do about it and suggested I should look for another adsolution!

    Stay away!

    I’m sorry, but this is not a problem I can help you with. This is the forum for the WordPress plugin of the JW Player. The Longtail Ad Solution is no longer supported in the new plugin.

    JW5 still supports the AdSolution.

    Just to give an update on this issue. I worked with LongTail for quite a while on this issue. They were never able to recreate this on their end however. Even with a different phone, I was able to get the problems. So I don’t know what was going on.

    However, the game and porn pop-ups have gone away. Not sure if something was fixed or the advertiser stopped or what. In any case, the issue seems to be resolved now.
