Status change stop mail sent

    Hi,

    We would like to prevent mails being sent on status changed to Completed.
    If I disable the Completed mail under Email settings.

    Is it safe to do so, and will this by certainty not send any mail to customers?
    Not even if its turned back on again, like they are qued?

    Hi there,

    Thanks for reaching out.

    It is completely safe to disable the Completed Order email, and this will prevent customers from being notified when the order status is changed to Completed.

    Once disabled, the emails are not “queued” and so re-enabling will not generate or send a bunch of held emails.
