Stats was installed using a different API key. The owner of the original key can

  • I’ve never had trouble registering using stats for my old sites, but now when i’m trying to register a new site i get this message everytime i try entering an apikey (tried with my old apikey, and newly created ones)

Stats was installed using a different API key. The owner of the original key can add users to the access list, or you can contact WordPress.com support.

What the hell? I can’t find this so called “Access List” it’s clearly none-existant in the wordpress configuration (wordpress.com) and there’s no info in the FAQ or support forums about this access list.

I’m afraid to say it, i’ve always loved wordpress for it’s amazing ease and great documentation, but this seemingly easy task, i find completely impossible.

Either link me directly to this “access list” or tell me it’s not working right now.

    Thank you
