• I host 12 different shows on my network, and I’m having a somewhat difficult time understanding these podpress stats.

First of all, isn’t there a way to measure my podpress categories individually?

Secondly, can’t I download these stats somehow? I supposed that I could sort things out of they were downloadable.

Thirdly- I don’t want to know the downloads per media file; I want to know the downloads per show category.

If you have any strategies that I can use to make this happen that would be great. The stats are a good snapshot, but I have potential advertisers lining up, and they want me to supply them with data.

Is there something I can use that is more robust?

    Thanks,

    DR

  • Hello,
One way would be to use third-party stats like blubrry Statistics.
Or you could use podcast hosting services like libsyn or blubrry which have their own statistics.

This is an old post but it explains in a bit more detail
    http://schoolofpodcasting.com/amazon-s3-vs-libsyn/

But I’m not sure you can see the downloads per category on Libsyn either.

By the way are you at the top positions in any iTunes Podcast category?
I think advertisers would also like to see that.
