 * Hi, I’m new to Site Kit and just checking one thing. The dashboard is connected
fine, but the stats don’t always look updated right away.
 * Is there usually a normal delay before Analytics/Search Console data shows inside
   WordPress?

 * Thanks for reaching out [@scottkerr2](https://wordpress.org/support/users/scottkerr2/).
When you mentioned the stats don’t always look updates right away, Site Kit uses
   the [Google Analytics Data API](https://developers.google.com/analytics/devguides/reporting/data/v1),
which won’t display data in real time, or as fresh compared to analytics.google.
   com.

 * Good question. There shouldn’t be a large difference as data is shown up to previous
day and in most cases after a few hours. You’ll find more more about how fresh
data is by visiting [this guide](https://support.google.com/analytics/answer/11198161?hl=en)
in relation to Analytics. Viewing real time data as it appears from analytics.
google.com isn’t an option within Site Kit.
 * For Search Console, I believe the metrics are similar, displaying data up to
the previous day. Within Site Kit, the data should closely match what you see
when clicking on the “Source: Search Console” link within the dashboard.
 * These data isn’t instant or real time, but does display data as fresh as the
   API’s provide for.
 * Let me know if you have any questions with the above. Thank you.
