I am building a church web site using a theme we purchased called RESURRECT and I am having trouble trying to figure out if I can do something or not. Let me explain.

I have a staff member who runs a ministry for our youth. He would like to have a static (no theme) page that pops up from a linked logo. If possible, he would like to have the page: show up in a new window, have separate navigation from the main template (links to subpages specific to his ministry), and possible have a rotating (linkable) banner. Does it sound like “any” of that is possible? I am having trouble just getting ideas on a new, blank, no themed page to popup in a new window. Can anyone throw me some thoughts. I have used WordPress for awhile, but always worked with the theme.

    Tracy D.

You can make a separate page outside of wordpress and have it sitting in the public_html folder and link to it from your wordpress site. Add a hyperlink < a href=”http://www.YOUR-WEBSITE.com/seperate page.html” target=”_blank” >YOUR-TEXT-GOES-HERE< /a >
    hope that helps
