static.ak.fbcdn.net causing a major slow down on my site

My site takes forever to load some days when facebook is having problems it shows static.ak.fbcdn.net loading in the bottom and it’s causing the page not to load at all until that script? loads.

I’m guessing it’s the Facebook login plugin I use or the Facebook sharing plugin, is there anyway to force all of that stuff to always load at the bottom above the body so that it never stops the loading of my website?

Any tips for this would be appreciated.
