static site title image above header on twenty twelve child theme?

I need to update my twenty eleven child theme to a twenty twelve or newer theme that is responsive and menus will show up properly on mobile devices.

I have an image I’m been able to position at the top of header on all pages (site-title) and would like to do this on twenty twelve. I hope to create a second sidebar to match my current site as much as possible.
