    Hey all,

I am working on a site for a client: http://elyseholladay.com/gusa/

What we want to do is have the “currently…” and “facebook group” sections be the 2 most recent wordpress posts; everything else is static. We don’t really want to show any of the other blog stuff, except for the “Archives” link which will link to the “main” WordPress Index page, which I will design to match.

I am sure it is possible but am fairly new to WordPress. I’m assuming I can install WordPress in /blog or something, and then when you click “archives” it takes you to that. That part is easy. How do I go about just calling the first 2 posts? I’ve been looking stuff up in the Codex and there was something about using the RSS feed to call them, but I couldn’t find any more details.

Anyone have any suggestions for me? Thanks in advance!!

    Elyse

OK, scratch that. I am just going to install WP in the root folder and edit everything around that. I think that is easier.

SO, how do I only show 2 posts on the homepage?
