# Static Pages

 * I upgraded a new site to 3.0.1 from 2.9 but now I can’t see how to make the Home
   page static. I’ve looked through the tutorials and static pages aren’t really
   mentioned. I also want to make the blog posts on an interior page. I can’t see
   how to do this with this version. Thanks for any help anyone is able to provide.

 * This is very simple to do. First, create a blank page called Blog (or whatever
   you want to call it). Next, go to Settings>Reading. Change Front Page Displayes
   from “Your latest posts” to “A static page”. Now all you have to do is select
   the static page that you want to display, and then choose the “Blog” page that
   you created for your Posts page.
