[resolved] Static page that uses the theme? (4 posts)

I would like to create a standard php page outside of wordpress that will still use the header sidebar and footer of the theme I use.

Basically on one of the wordpress 'pages' I will have a list of links to these static pages. I don't want them listed on the sidebar under pages, cause there will be over 100 of them. So I just want an index page of sorts that will grab the standard format of a 'page' but will allow me to name the page such as "game1.php" so I can link directly to the static content.

Unless someone knows of a way to create a page that won't be listed under the 'pages' section.

You can make them "children" or sub-Pages of that indexing Page and use the tag in the sidebar to show only parents: look for the "depth" parameter.
The answer is in the Codex: http://codex.wordpress.org/Template_Tags/wp_list_pages
