Support » Plugin: Network Posts Extended » Static page “how to”

  • Hi and thanks for your plugin.
To my understanding Network Posts Extended makes it possible to display content of posts and pages throughout a whole WP multisite network. Since the link to the tutorials seems to not work anymore, I have problems getting to understand the basics of how to use this plugin. I’m trying to have the terms and conditions page set up once on the main site and use the same content for the other sites on the network, so if there where changes, they would only have to be edited once. Can you point me to information on how to achieve this? (If I have page AGB on main page, what settings do I have to perform to display it’s content on the AGB page of site1, site2 etc.?)

    Hope this makes sense,
    thanks for your help,

    Stefan

All the shortcodes can be found here:
    https://wordpress.org/plugins/network-posts-extended/
plus in the readme.txt file. I am still working on the help site.

Now as far as your question goes this is the shortcode I recommend.

    [netsposts full_text="true" include_post="PostIDNumberGoesHere" post_type="page" include_blog="BlogIDNumberGoesHere"]

Now to make the page look good you are going to have to use some knowledge in html. The html from the page will not carry over. If you have any shortcodes running on that page they will not show. Right now the plugin only has the ability to run shortcodes in the excerpt field.

You may also put the terms and conditions in the excerpt field of the page or post and it will show up also.
