  • I wanted to change my website. I had two static pages – ‘about’ and ‘contact’. The contact page was my home page, but I wanted ‘about’ to be my homepage. I swapped them around, and now my ‘contact’ page has turned into a posts page instead of a static page, and I cannot see how I change this back. Please could anyone help? I would in the future like to have a posts page as well as the two static pages, but at the moment I do not have any content for it.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

Your contact page has become your posts page because you specifically set it so, as you stated your self (“I swapped them”).

If you don’t want it so, you just remove it in SETTINGS => READING => POSTS PAGE.

Better yet, create a new blank page… call it something like “Blog” (but the specific name is irrelevant) and set this new “Blog” page as your posts page. This should set your contact page free.

first of all create a new page and all your content what ever you want to display in Home page. next step go to setting and select the Reading Option choose you your new create page .that will be display as home page.
