# Static Intro Post

 * Hi,
    Normally the way WordPress works is that it puts the newest posts at the
   top of the page and as newer posts are added the original top post moves down
   the page. Is there a way to have an initial “Static” into post that maintains
   its postition at the top of the page and stays then and all new posts are inserted
   beneath that? I have an intro explanatory post and assocated podcast media file
   that I want to remain at the top of the page. Thanks in advance for your help.

 * There was a sticky post plugin that worked pre-2.2, not sure if it was updated.
   Try doing a search for it.
