Hello!

I am trying to set a static homepage on a WordPress Site (http://newmeloneslakemarina.com/) and have attempted to do so by setting the home page to /welcome/ in Settings>Reading. Despite this setting, the home page still fails to load. I know the setting is in place since I can click the “Edit Page” button and still get the edit panel for the welcome page, yet no text entered shows up. Am I doing something wrong, or could this be a possible bug?

Several people are having the same problem. After installing the default theme (1.9) won’t load home page correctly. I was just using the default theme home page with three images in the slider and the Latest Blog section and service section with four services. Now they are all gone. The site is http://www.allianceforportlandpubliclands.org/
