Can you please login with admin and confirm the setting as below:
Settings -> Reading -> Your homepage displays -> You have selected “A static page (select below)” with homepage or not.
If not then you can select this option and select homepage in below drop-down.

The two selected pages are correct. The page selected for the Homepage looks correct when edited but not when displayed.

When I use ‘View Page’ the page looks OK.
If I have the Java console open, I see this error when opening the page for edit
Failed to load resource: the server responded with a status of 404 (Not Found)

There do not appear to be any errors when viewing the page

The page looks OK when being edited, but it does not look OK when viewed.

The page displayed as expected until recently, I suspect it might have been a theme upgrade but I can find a reason for the problem.
We are not clear about your issue.
The page is not viewing as expected.
The page views with only the first block of text and some of the second block of text, then it has a Read More button, which does not work.
The page should have many blocks, Nextgen Galleries and embedded WordPress pages.
I would share a screen shot put there is no way to add it to this post.
