My wordpress site is under construction. This is because when you access pexlechris.dev you see an html site. To see the WordPress site put a get parameter.

I solved it!
I realise how home page works watching the code comments:
//If any one section are enabled then show custom home page.
//If all section are disabled then show respective page template.

Displaying the page editor content instead of the homepage sections falls under the custom preference of a customer, which is why we have not included it in our theme documentation.
But we do appreciate your suggestion and will take it into consideration.
