    Hello,

I am about to get back to blogging full-time now. But I wanted to know if it’s possible to use WordPress as a CMS? For eg, can I have a static page as my front page and the actual blog residing in the /blog folder on my web host?

If yes, how do I go about achieving this?

Any help is greatly welcomed, and I thank you in advance.

    Jay

Yes you can. Here’s a page from the codex that tells you about pages, and the difference between them and posts.’

Everything you always wanted to know about WordPress (well, almost) is in the codex:

For eg, can I have a static page as my front page and the actual blog residing in the /blog folder on my web host?
