This must be real simple, but I haven’t found the answer. I want to display this page as my static homepage on my site. When you go to my actual homepage (blogs) you’ll notice that I used a different (new) main-template for the intro-page: no widget area on the right.
But when I select the “intro” page as the static homepage, WordPress displays the widget area in the right column! What settings do I have to change?
    Thanks for your help!

It’s actually not that simple because it’s not in the theme documentation, but there have been a few threads on it in the BytesForAll Support Forum. Create a main template called front-page.php by using the main template that you created earlier as a model and use front-page.php as your home page’s template.

    That does the job. Thanks!
