• I just installed the SemiLogic Static Front Page plugin and it is working beautifully to display the page “Home” as the front page of my site. The problem is that it put a link to Home in the pages list on my sidebar (which I want), but the link is not working as desired.

    I have wordpress installed a separate subdirectory on my site and my index.php file in my root directory. To complicate matters, my site is an add-on domain on my server so what’s happening is that http://www.thestoryfoundry.com points to the new static frontpage of my wordpress site, but the link to home points to my wordpress directory at http://www.biographa.com/wordpress .

    Any idea how I can fix this so that the link to Home from my sidebar points back to http://www.thestoryfoundry.com ??

    Thanks for the help!

  • that’s a get_permalink() bug as far as I can tell.

    That makes sense but I haven’t the faintest idea how I would go about fixing it. I found an easy solution by reorganizing the files on my server and putting wordpress back in the same directory as my site. The links are working perfectly now.

    Thanks for the suggestion!
