I have the free version of Tracks set up on two addresses –

    http://www.labretgraphics.co.uk

    and

    http://www.labretgraphics.co.uk/blog

I need a static front page on the main site but not on the blog. However, the “static front page” tab in customiser is only showing up for the blog wp-admin and not the main one. I have looked in the reading settings for each as well and the section for it there is missing on the main site version.

I’m a Graphic Design student and quite terrible with code – I did go in through Editor and change a few simple bits of code so I worry I might have done something to mess it up, but I can’t find a way to uninstall/reinstall it or to reset the code.

    Thanks for choosing Tracks!

The Tracks theme doesn’t interact with the Reading Settings menu at all, so I don’t think any code you’ve edited could affect that. Do you have any plugins installed on the site? I think it is most likely that there is a bug in a plugin that is preventing the option from showing.

Please try deactivating all plugins on the site temporarily to see if this fixes the issue. Deactivating your plugins won’t have any effect on their settings.

It turned out I only had one page created and so wasn’t able to select it as a main one – fellow student at university pointed this out to me. Thank you for the reply!
