Static Front Page – No Theme Options

I have had the same page set as the static home page for several months and of late Theme Option and the blue pencil edit icon in the customizer are gone, and if I select Header Media in the customizer I get the comment “This theme doesn’t support video headers on this page. Navigate to the front page or another page that supports video headers.” I created a new page, selected it as the static front page and get the same result, I also restored a copy of the page from 4 weeks ago and the same result. I’ve deactivated each plugin and tested and each time, the issue stays the same. The page is set as the static front page. The test site on my local host doesn’t have the problem and the only significant difference between the sites is that I recently had an SSL certificate installed. Any thoughts or suggestions on what to try next? Thanks, dennis
