# Static Front Page Issue

 * I know people have tried to explain this before, but I’m really, really dumb.
   After using the static front page plugin, how do I get rid of the stuff (like
   the date) that make my front page look like a post rather than a new home page?
   Please explain in as many small words as possible. Thanks!
