I m new to wordpress.
In my site its not showing any content for static front page. Even though its visible in editor.
Previously it was working fine but after I installed one plugin it messed up everything. I already uninstalled it. but still problem is not solved.
The content of home page is same as “SWM” page.
I’m new to WordPress too and having Static Front Page problems – it was fine and now, from Dashboard, it won’t any more link to ‘Edit Front Page’ and the site comes up with a blog page as the home page which I don’t want but cannot fully Trash – WordPress wants that page.
I’ve checked page numbers, tried moving my Welcome page up in the Appearance-Menus section, changed the urls on my Welcome page and that random home page – not worked
Anne Samuel, please don’t post in other people’s threads if you’re not contributing towards their issues.
You can create a new thread if you wish to discuss your issue.
Also note that screaming at volunteers will discourage them from helping you, than encourage. Don’t type normal words in uppercase. That is considered as shouting.

How did it mess things up? Did you delete the plugin from your server?
Can you post the code of the theme (Page) template file that is used by your front Page. See the forum rules on how to post code.
That seems all ok to me. Are you sure the settings for your static front page are still correct in wp-admin > Settings > Reading?
Front page: “SWM”
