# Static front page

 * Hello,
 * I’ve just started working with the Chocolat theme today. I am using a static 
   front page with a static page setting (I won’t be using posts).
 * I would like to remove the “Leave a reply” comment box and “Trackback URL” box
   from the bottom of every page. How do I do that?

 * Well, this problem seems to have resolved itself. I deleted my original pages
   with the comment and trackback boxes. When I recreated them, the new pages now
   only display what I type!

 * Disabling the comments and trackbacks in the WP settings was the first thing 
   I tried, and even doing that didn’t remove the boxes.

 * Click on Quick Edit for that page and make sure “allow comments” is turned off.
