• I have a static home page on my site and this plugin seems to be having issues with just that page.

I can get this plugin to work with other pages throughout my site and when I turn off all plugins in the global settings it does NOT load the plugins. So, I know this plugin is working.

But I have a static home page and for some reason I can’t get this the selected filtered plugins to load on my static home page.

    In the filter settings section:

I enter the URL in the permalink input as:

but once I update, the slash gets stripped out and the permalink turns into:

I’m not sure if this is the issue or not. I have seen some posts in forums about this issue regarding stripping out the “/” and that it was supposed to be resolved in the last update.

There was a recent post that was marked resolved where the user, @biggee71, got this resolved by recreating permalinks, but that did not work for me. And I wasn’t sure if the user entered a old and new domain or just clicked the button. It warned about a potential consequential issue with the regular expression that could not be undone, so I didn’t want to mess anything up by exploring options there without further guidance.

When you go to your homepage is the url in your address bar http://www.domainname.com/ or http://www.domainname.com ? It will correct the address you enter if your permalinks are set up without the slash at the end and you enter a slash. The recreate permalinks functions doesn’t do anything to plugin filters. It only recreates the permalinks for posts/pages/custom post types.

    the home page URL is:
    http://www.domainname.com
(without the “/” at the end)

I have tried both for the permalink URL in the filter to address the home page settings, but it’s not loading the selected plugins on that page.

I have even tried just activating individual plugins to see if there was some type of conflict with this one and others, but I could no matter which plugin I tried to load on the home page, it was not loading. But they will work on other pages of the site.

Thanks for the clarity on the Recreate Permalink feature.
