 * Hello,
 * Here’s my problem.
 * I’m using a theme that has a welcome.html. I’m trying to make an “About Me” the
   page that comes up as the “home page” so when someone enters “www.example.com”
   into the address bar, this is the page that they see.
 * Now, I’ve tried everything I could through the admin dashboard.
 * If I remove the welcome. html page, then I get a 404 error. I can readily copy
   the about me page into the .html file and make it work. However, I need this
   page to be accessible to the person who owns the site. I need the “welcome” page
   to be accessible through the admin dashboard, which, since it’s currently html,
   doesn’t show in the “Pages” in the admin dashboard.
 * I’ve assigned “home” to be the “about me” page. I’ve followed all the basic methods
   available in the dashboard to no avail. Without that welcome,html page, the site
   is inaccessible from the Net.
 * What CAN I put into that welcome.html to make the “about me” page still available
   for editing through the admin dashboard?
 * Thanks for all your help. I’ve spent far too long on this problem.
