Static Front Page

    I have set the site settings to show a static front page and also chosen the page to use the Front Page template. The home page is still showing the post feed. How can this be configured to show the static page?

    You can go to dashboard->settings -> reading you can slect the static your own custom page.
    For the custom page you cna create a template or write any custom code to display the information.

    Already set to the page I wanted and it didn’t take. Tried resetting the loop. No dice. I think there may have been a conflict with the slider loop (?) as once I knocked that out the page displayed appropriately. Still FAR from ideal as I was hoping to have the slider available but the static page.
