# State Validation Not Working

 * Hello,
 * When on the checkout page, I fill out all of my information for shipping details
   and when I proceed to check out am bounced back to the page saying that I need
   to enter a valid state. I choose the appropriate state from the dropdown menu,
   so I am confused as to why the validation fails.
 * The only thing I can think of is perhaps a null value?

   test products. Just search for “test” in the search menu for those interested
   in testing.

 * I was having the same issue. The temporary fix for me was to move the country
   field above the city and state.
