Support » Plugin: The Events Calendar » State and Zip Code display incorrectly in Upcoming Events

  • I was adding the Upcoming Events widget to my site and it looks great, except when I include state and zip code. If City is selected, the state and zip code show as “1”, ex. West Jordan UT 84084 would show as West Jordan 1 1. If the city is unchecked, it will display as UT 1, and city and zip show as West Jordan 1.

    It’s not a big deal, as all of our events are in the same state, but it would be nice to include.

    Thanks for using The Events Calendar, I’m happy to help! In order to help, I would like to get some more information from you, if I can:

    -First, if you could please test for conflicts by following this documentation? Let me know what you find. This will help me determine how deeply we need to look into the specific configuration of your site, or if this is a bug. 🙂

    -Can you send me a link to your site so I can see this firsthand? I’m a visual person, and I can often be more helpful in giving solutions to problems I can see and interact with.

    Followed the steps in the link, and in theme Twenty Sixteen I saw the same problem, city and stae showing up as 1 1.

    Site urls is http://www.saltydinnertheater.com.

    Sorry for the delayed response here. Let’s see if we can get this sorted out! Did you by chance also happen to disable the other plugins on your site to test for conflicts there? I’m taking a look myself now. 🙂

    Hey @anthporter,

    After some further testing, and other reports of this issue, we’ve determined that you’ve found a bug. It’s been reported and escalated, and should be fixed in a future update.

    I’ll keep you posted on any temporary fixes we come up with, as well a when this gets permanently fixed. Thanks for hanging in there and for your patience!
