    Figured it out, I had to choose “Use TLS encryption. This is not the same as STARTTLS. For most servers SSL is the recommended option“, set the port to 587, use SMTP authentication and set the username as “user@full.email.addres.com”

    hallo Ruda,

    i have the same problem, i use a MS Exchagne webserver and i can not make any wordpress smtp plugin work with it. so, how did you succeed? i tried WP Mail SMTP, but with no good results.
