    Avoid this plugin. It starts to show ads and that “feature” can not be disabled in any way. I had to deactivate and delete it.

    Maybe it should be removed from the WordPress.org Plugin Page.

    Thank you for commenting – the only thing that should appear in the back end of the site is a suggestion to update to 3.0, if you are on an older version – and that should remain closed once it’s clicked.

    If you decide to try Restrict Content again, please do let us know if you are seeing persistent ads of any sort, as that’s not part of the plugin.

    The display of ads is persistent in this plugin, regardless of how many times I try to disable ads in it.

    Hello @petknu !

    Our plugin does not display ads. If you’re seeing ads in your account, then they’re either coming from another plugin, or your site has been compromised and you should get in contact with your hosting company right away.
