# Starting View

 * How do I change the starting view of the main calendar?
 * My fist event is not until April but when browsing to /event-directory the first
   view users see is Feb 2023 meaning the user has to click through to April manually
   before they see anything.

 * Either add month_incre=”+2″ to your current shortcode or use Event Lists shortcode:

 * Does month_incre=”+2″ mean it’ll always be showing the month that is 2 months
   ahead of the current month though?

 * And just so I’m 100% clear there’s not a way to use the main calendar view add_eventon
   and have it ignore any empty months in the way add_eventon_list can with hide_empty_months?
 * It’s just the incre method means I have to remember to switch it off nearer the
   time.
