 * I have setup the correct api keys and my maps show perfect but in settings at
the starting location the auto-suggestion doesn’t work which results in the map
not taking the settings if you just type a location.

 * What are the errors that show up in the browser [console](https://codex.wordpress.org/Using_Your_Browser_to_Diagnose_JavaScript_Errors#Step_3:_Diagnosis)?
 * You are using the latest version?
 * Does it work if you disable all other plugins, and switch back to a default WP
   theme?

 * Actually no errors in the browser console and using latest version. Only the
starting location doesn’t work in my back-end meaning it doesn’t auto fill or
take the manual typed location which results in not auto loading my stores.

 * Which browser did you check it in? If the field is grey, then there has to be
an error with the Google Maps API.
 * Did you set a referrer in the[ Google Developer Console](https://wordpress.org/support/topic/starting-location-doesnt-work/console.developers.google.com?output_format=md)
for the browser key? If not, can you try to set it? The example format they provided
doesn’t seem to work for some users, so maybe try [http://yourdomain.com/*](http://yourdomain.com/*)
or the exact page of the admin page?
 * You can work around the start point on the settings page by setting it though
   the wpsl [shortcode](https://wpstorelocator.co/document/shortcodes/#store-locator),
but that won’t the solve the issue why it breaks.

 * The shortcode actually did the trick. Thanks!
