Starting from scratch. Where do I go from here?
-
I want to build a personal website. It would have a blog (with the chiming in of the community), a personal blog, music choices, reviews, and links to my other social media. I’m sure that could be done with a mere .com profile. The second stage of this, though, would perhaps be a transformation into something more of a community, perhaps something like highexistence.com or something with multiple admin privileged authors like goodlifer.com
My project for this summer is to learn WordPress and launch a site off the .org (or would the .com suffice for my needs?) I know only extremely basic HTML, but I have a lot of time, and I can see this being a passion of mine because I love writing and blogging already. What do you think I should learn? HTML first? CSS right after? .org? .com? PHP? MySQL? Is this even a feasible project for a Business Finance major with no real experience? Ohhh, my head.
All help really appreciated. Seriously.
