# Starter Design System

 * Hello there.
 * I’m just wondering what is “starter design system”. I tried to find out what’s
   that, but website / doc has a lack of this information – am I missing something?

 * Hi,
 * The Design System is needed if you want to use partial content import from our
   demos but do not want to install the BBE Theme. The thing is, third-party themes
   do not contain our colors, font sizes, and spacings. Without those, the content
   will look ugly or broken.
 * We were thinking of adding a simple algorithmic translation layer from our design
   system to the one used on an arbitrary user website. This would allow us to get
   rid of the Design System. But that’s quite a lot of work, and we’re not sure 
   the demand is there.
