# Start here: setup & quick fixes

 * **Setting up for the first time?**
   The full step-by-step guide, including the

 * The Google part takes about ten minutes and you only do it once. It’s copy and
   paste rather than code, but it does involve Google’s own console, so follow the
   guide rather than guessing.
 * **Before you post, four things fix most problems:**
    1. **“Not connected” on the settings screen.** Usually the redirect URL in Google
       Cloud doesn’t exactly match the one shown in Step 1 of the DrezSync settings
       page. It has to match character for character, including https and no trailing
       slash.
    2. **No times showing on the form.** Check the open days, the start and end hours,
       and that the date you’re testing isn’t in the past. Slots that have already 
       passed are never offered.
    3. **Booked times not disappearing.** Confirm the booking field is pointed at the
       same calendar the events are on.
    4. **Changes not appearing at all.** Clear your site cache. Caching plugins will
       happily serve an old copy of the form.
