# Start and End Date

 * I have an issue where the End date is pushed forward one day.
    For example an
   event that start August 25 and ends August 26 is shown as August 25 – August 
   27.
 * Any ideas why this happen?

 * Hello,
 * This happens because all-day events end at 00:00 (so 00:00 on the 27th, not 23:
   59:59 on the 26th).
 * You can work around this by setting the `offset` parameter of the `[end-date]`
   shortcode (in the event display builder field in the plugin settings, under “
   Display Options”) to `-1`, like this:
 *     ```
       [end-date offset="-1"]
       ```
