Stars only shown when a post is 'open'

The stars are only shown when i open a post, but not in the blog with all the posts.
Since I am displaying displaying the full post on the homepage, it would be necessary to be able to vote there.
How do i ‘fix’ this? unfortunately i cant code myself.
