    Hey Guys,

your plugin is working like a charm. Now I have a question for understanding.

I have the variables categories and asigned Ids.

So my main page or “product” is the URL above. No I have several location pages for this product. Set as …/fotobox-mieten/location.

It makes no sense, to rate all the location sites by themselves, cause they all refer to the same product …/fotobox-mieten

Is there a way, to bring the stars from the product (which appear in Google) to the location site? If yes, how can I do this.

I use categories from my products. And I have the possibility to assign a rating to an ID. So is it possible to tell google:

    1. All rating in the category should be shown for the products page …/fotobox-mieten regardless to which location the rating is assigned to.
    2. To show the specific stars from the assigned to for the location page ../fotobox-mieten/location?

OR is there any other way?

Thank you guys for your awesome work,

    best regards from Germany,
    iRomeK

If the location is a child page of the product page, then:

    1. On the product page, do this:

    [site_reviews_form assign_to=post_id]
    [site_reviews_summary assigned_to=post_id]
    [site_reviews assigned_to=post_id]

    2. On the product location page, do this:

    [site_reviews_form assign_to=parent_id]
    [site_reviews_summary assigned_to=parent_id]
    [site_reviews assigned_to=parent_id]

That will assign all reviews, regardless of the location, to the product page.

Additionally, if you have multiple products that share the same locations you can add a location category to the shortcode like this:

    [site_reviews_form assign_to=parent_id category="hochzeitsfeier"]
    [site_reviews_summary assigned_to=parent_id category="hochzeitsfeier"]
    [site_reviews assigned_to=parent_id category="hochzeitsfeier"]

Thank you! This is more or less what I thought.

I checked my product page on which I see now 7 ratings. 4 directly from the products page and 3 from the location pages. The Google Test Tool, only shows me 4 Elements for the product page, which is correct, because I assigned them wrong and just show the “category summary”. So Google does a well job here.

But how about SEO. Will I get any trouble caused by duplicate content? Can I tell google, the same as above, so which review belongs to which ID and the other place to display is canonical or sth. like this. Because the same review will be visible on the Location page and on the Product page too.

Thank you guys very much! You are awesome!

    Best regards,

If you are using the schema option on the [site_reviews] shortcode, Site Reviews will only include “Review” schema for the visible reviews on the page, but the Aggregate rating schema will reflect the rating from all assigned reviews.
