Star as link, changes color on click (4 posts)

I noticed someone has opened this thread, but some of the code was removed.
Here is my take on this:
It will make the star clickable, and change it's color depends on the state (Gmail style ;)

first you'll need to put the grey star (or whatever) in wp-content\plugins\wp-favorite-posts\img

then add this function (by silfani): wpfp_before_link_img_grey()

then change wpfp_link_html() like this: http://pastebin.com/LKSJf1Dq

    Hope that helps.
Let me know if you have any questions.
And a huge thanks to Huseyin Berberoglu for this great plugin

this should be built in. will your solution work even when using all custom images?

UPDATE: I found that it does. However, Im not sure I have the plugin settings correct. All my posts have this now: https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/1518168/2013-05-20_150932.jpg and when I click the right star, it shows this: https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/1518168/2013-05-20_151137.jpg
so its working but something is off.

and here are my settings: https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/1518168/2013-05-20_151013.jpg

What do my settings need to be now?

i got it. I just used icons (html) in the "Text for add link" and "Text for remove link" fields and it works perfectly.
