    Hi Jacob,
not so long time ago I had my last problem πŸ˜‰ – here comes the next one :-O

For a.m. webpage a install your plugin and it works for “single” added pictures like a charme. If my brother-in-law create a WP-Galery with function “add a picture” in a new blog-entry, still this old WP-function is used, better sometimes your lightbox “overwrite” the old style and after closing your the old one is still there and needs to close.
You can see the differnce very good if comparing “Samstagsspaziergang in …” and “a nice autum day”.
I hope you can follow my, sounding crazy, description.
Is there any way to deactivate this WP-function with creating everything new with wppa?
I’m using WP 4.9.8, Theme Esplanade, actual version, Plugins Akismet, EU Cookie Law, Open external Links in a new Window and WPPA
Looking foward to hear from you.
    best regards
    Juergen

It looks like you activated ‘lightbox global’ in Table IV-G5.
If you do not want to use my lightbox, UNtick IV-G5, and make sure you have no linkt to lightbox in Table VI.

    Hi Jacob,

other way round πŸ™‚ I want _to use_ _your_ lightbox and not the other one…..

De-activate any lightbox plugin if you have one, or disable the feature in your theme if possible, or use a deifferent theme without embedded lightbox.

    Hi Jacob,
thanks! You are absolutely right πŸ™‚
There was a lightbox inside the theme πŸ™ I didn’t thought about that, checked only the plugins.
Now it’s working like a charme.
Thanks for your assistance, best regards

    Dear Jacob,
After creating a new page I miss a button in order to insert the wppa+ gallery I’ve just created. So I inserted [wppa][/wppa], but now I get an overview of all my galleries (I have only one on this page!).

I would like to show the thumbnails of my gallery immediately, what do I have to insert on my page?

Furtheron I would like to get rid of the comment box beneath the single images.

    Thanks in advance!

Try this: [wppa type="thumbs" album="7"] to show the thumbnails of album #7.

Please – please – read https://wppa.nl/shortcode-reference/ to learn about [wppa] shortcodes and the use of the shortcode generators.

Note: [/wppa] is optional, make sure you do either use one of the forms on a page, do not mix self-closing ( [wppa ...] ) and explicit closing ( [wppa ..][/wppa] ) on any page or post.

Untick Table II-B10 on the Photo ALbums -> Settings admin page to get rid of the commenting system.

    Dear Jacob,
Thanks a lot for your advices. I must have overseen this little icon which opens the window for the shortcodes.
One more question, because I couldn’t find the answer in the config tables: How can I hide the title and also the description in the thumbnail overview?
    Thanks again for your help,
    Gusbach
