    Hi Marcel,

WP Staging is currently not intended to be working in an multisite environment, so this is not supported at the moment

    Thank you for quickly responding!

    Rene,
Is multisite support on the horizon at all, or just plain not in the works?
    Thanks!

Its on the horizon but i can not give any date for release.

    Rene –

    I’m a bit confused.

Essentially, a “cloned system” is one where all files, links and database(s) are backed up. These files then may be zipped/tar’d and sent to a different server and file system. Once they arrive, the admin should be able to define the new instance/domain name and restore the files, links and database to the new name.

This concept has and continues to be performed worldwide with major database systems (i.e. Oracle, Microsoft )

Here I have a good news problem. Your solution successfully clones but ONLY as a subdomain of the original. Good … but part of the reason we clone a system is for the ability to respond to a disaster. Cloning permits your user to verify a most critical part of disaster recovery.

    Your thoughts?

    Mark
