 * When we create a staging site does WP Time Capsule create a new separate database?
   If not how does it work when updating themes and plugins will make changes to
   the database?
 * Also what is the best practices for deleting a staging site?

 * Hey Jason,
 * When you stage to the same server (internal staging), WPTC uses the same database
   but the tables are created with an additional prefix to differentiate between
   the live site tables and the staging site tables.
 * Once you create the staging site, a delete button will be available which will
   allow you to clear the staging site!
