I posted this back on the plugin support forums here as well, but figured I should post here at WP.org as well since I haven’t heard anything.
I’m having trouble creating custom post types using the plugin. It looks like the issue is that upon submitting the Create New Custom Post Type form in WP-Admin, the action for that form is set to a secure URL, instead of the default unsecured URL. In our dev environment (and several production environments) we do not have SSL running. Thus, the form fails and can’t post back to the server.
After looking at the code for the plugin it appear that the plugin is manually forcing form actions to post against a secure URL. Is there a reason for this? While it may be nice for those users who are running environments which have SSL configured, in general it seems a bit overkill.
Just looking for some feedback.
Thanks for a great plugin!
